BROILER BREEDER FARMS

Ever since its establishment, Alwadi Farms Poultry Company has been keen on establishing farms for the production of one-day old chicks. The company management has considered this as its primary activity. Over the course of half a century, the company has become one of the leading firms in producing one-day old chicks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by constructing a group of broiler hatcheries that meet international standards.

The company has chosen the best international breeds from breeders known for their ample production of eggs, chick size, and suitability to the environment. These chicks are characterized by a high nutritive transformation rate. The company has executed a total of 82 houses to date, with a capacity of about 400,000 broiler parents that produce more than 57 million broiler chicks annually. The company raises approximately six million chicks in its broiler farms, while the remaining chicks are sold to third party broiler farms throughout the Kingdom at one-day old.

HATCHERIES

Alwadi Farms Poultry Company operates three hatcheries that produce one-day old chicks. The hatcheries have a combined capacity of approximately 57 million chicks per year. The hatcheries are managed by a team of highly trained technicians and laborers. Alwadi Farms Poultry Company implements the latest international bio-security measures to protect the chicks from infections.

The company uses large, air-conditioned vehicles that are fully equipped to transport the chicks directly from the hatcheries to clients’ farms in different regions of the Kingdom, ensuring the best possible service for poultry raisers.

Feed Factory

Alwadi Farms Poultry Company feed mill was established with a production capacity of 30 tons/hour, which was later increased to 40 tons/hour through mill expansions. The mill operates using the most advanced and recent technologies in this field, and is fully automated. The mill is followed by silos and warehouses for storing raw materials in a clean and healthy way. These warehouses can accommodate up to 40,000 tons of raw materials.

The mill is operated, supervised, and managed by a team of fully trained technicians and laborers. It produces various types of layer and broiler feed, including high-efficiency layers and broilers that yield the highest rates of growth to chicken. Additionally, the mill produces feed for cows, calves, sheep, and camels. The company owns a fleet of vehicles for feed transfer in the most recent fashion to transfer feed all over the Kingdom as early/fast as possible.

Broiler Farms

Alwadi Farms Poultry Company operates 82 owned broiler farms in various locations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The farms are located as follows:

1. Al-Kharj area broiler farm with 16 houses
2. Al-Qassim (Buraidah) area broiler farm with 18 houses
3. Al-Rass area broiler farm with 15 houses
4. Al Majmaah Area broiler farm with 19 houses
5. Nasah Area broiler farm with 14 houses

All the broiler farms are equipped with the latest technology and have the highest biosecurity measures.

Slaughterhouses

Alwadi Farms Poultry Company operates three owned slaughterhouses in the following areas:

1. Riyadh
2. Al-Qassim
3. Bisha.

The combined production capacity of these slaughterhouses is approximately 80 million annually. The slaughterhouses have sections that are entirely operated by women. They produce chilled, seasoned, and frozen chicken.

QUALITY LABORATORIES

The company has established a laboratory department equipped with advanced medical equipment and devices to perform laboratory tests. The tests are conducted to monitor the health status of parent broilers, one-day old chicks, and the layers and broilers herds. The laboratory department comprises four basic laboratories:
Serology Laboratory: This laboratory performs blood and serum tests to measure the level of immune bodies against major diseases such as mycoplasma, salmonella, and immunity level against viral and bacterial diseases using the Eliza device.
Bacteriology Laboratory: This laboratory performs sensitivity tests against antibiotics, microscopic checks of blood and intestine to reveal Coccidia, and bacteriological tests of water, feeder, walls, and equipment.
Chemical Analysis of Feeder Laboratory: This laboratory analyzes feeders and primary materials of feeder manufacturing to determine the percentages of protein, fat, fibers, calcium, and phosphorus along with all chemical analyses required for the feeder. The analysis is done to monitor the quality of produced feeders by Al-Wadi Feeder Mill and their conformity with standard specifications. Clients can also avail themselves of this service by analyzing feeders for them.
Health Test Laboratory: This laboratory performs all required health tests to ensure that all feeders, water, and air are free from any pollution. It is also used in testing pens, equipment, and slaughterers prior and after purification to measure the purification processes activation level through taking traces and cultures samples to reveal all sorts of bacteria such as (E. coli) and salmonella especially in the life and slaughtered birds from the automatic slaughterer in order to make sure that they are fully free from any infectious and contagious to humans.
